The main information section of the Local 1285 site has moved to
www.cawlocal.ca/1285
The National Union has provided us space on their server, hence the address change.
www.cawlocal.ca/1285 is accessable, as is the National website, to many of our members at the Brampton Assembly Plant and other DaimlerChrysler facilities through the "dashboardanywhere" portal, not just from home, but while they are at work.
This was a consideration in moving the main section to the new address.
We haven't simply "put a pointer" at caw1285.com to re-direct you, because we have plans for this site which include: relocating the popular seniority listing from our action-centre site, and having deeper detail pages available to Local 1285 Standing Committees, the Retirees Chapter, and some of our larger units, including the Brampton Assembly Plant. This site will therefore become a "supplement" to www.cawlocal.ca/1285
For the time being you should "bookmark" www.cawlocal.ca/1285
as your current "CAW Local 1285" source.
